Northumberland Under 25's Double Rink lost out in the regional semi-final to Yorkshire by a single shot (39-40)

Challenge Cup

Following yesterday's semi-finals this years Challenge Cup final will be contested by Seaton Sluice, Willington Quay, Fossway, Health & Security, Backworth Welfare and the winner of section F which is still to be decided. The Final is scheduled for Saturday 15th July at Alnwick B.C.

Triples Finalist

K Proctor (BE) earns another place at Leamington Spa!

CANCELLED: Triples Semi final.

N Craig (BU) v A Daley (AK) semi final at Morpeth has been CANCELLED due to unforseen circumstances.


2-Bowl Singles

The semi-final line-up for this event sees J Morgan (BW) taking on M Bennett (G) and J Minto (G) up against S Taws (PD).

In the quarter-finals Bennett and Minto recorded wins over club colleagues S Richardson & P harvey respectively, whilst Morgan defeated G Richardson (PD) 15-14 and S Taws had a 17-12 success over A Johnson (FS)


Muras Cup

Northumberland recorded two victories today (27th May) which made ammends for their narrow defeat to Durham a week earlier. In the morning session they defeated Yorkshire by 21 shots and collected 16 match points. They followed that up with a 41 shot victory over Lancashire in the afternoon to collect a further 19 points and thus retained the Muras Cup. Follow this link for RESULTS



BE Senior Singles

The current Northumberland Singles Champion Mick McGreevy, and three past champions, head a strong field. McGreevy (G) faces a tough first round tie away to Backworth's Stan Lant.
