Finals Day

Our County Finals Day was held on Thursday 12 July at Hexham (Elvaston).  The weather held out and the games were completed in lovely warm sunshine.  Because of all the wet weather the rinks were proving to be a bit slippy under foot so they had to be rearranged for the afternoon games and thanks to David Ashworth for his help in allowing this to be possible. Thanks also to the Hexham ladies who served lovely bacon butties, soup, and sandwiches throughout the day.  See photos on women's gallery. All finalists will now play in the All England Championships Leamington Spa and we wish them all good luck.
